HANNAH SOLAR GOVERNMENT SERVICES PARTNERS WITH AMERESCO FOR DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY VA PROJECT

Q1 2020 – April 15, 2020

Summerville, SC – Over the years, Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) has often participated in projects with leading cleantech integrator, Ameresco to provide the solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage portion of larger, multi-disciplinary construction projects. This latest award will bring HSGS on to an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) that is also an IDIQ, or an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. An IDIQ is under the U.S. Federal Government, and provides an indefinite quantity of supplies or services during a fixed amount of time. This specific award under the ESPC IDIQ will be for a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia. We hope to work with—and learn from—Ameresco on more awards under this Department of Energy contract, but in the meantime our NABCEP-certified PV designers and licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.) will work on designing a parking canopy for the VAMC in Georgia.

Hannah Solar Government Services is a veteran-owned business leading the way in global energy security by designing and building renewable energy and microgrid systems. HSGS specializes in project development, design, installation, and maintenance of commercial and utility scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage for government, commercial, and utility clients. HSGS’ breadth of experience includes projects that span the continental United States as well as overseas.
