Summerville, SC – Hannah Solar Government Services’ (HSGS) team of NABCEP-certified Photovoltaic (PV) Installers have completed the construction and installation of a renewable energy system in Tuskegee, Alabama. The product of our partnership with Ameresco and the Department of Energy, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) is now the recipient of energy provided by a 1.16-megawatt ground-mounted solar PV system. This project was funded by an Energy Savings Performance Contract under the Department of Energy, ensuring the facility faces no upfront costs, only benefits.
The CAVHCS is comprised of two large Veterans Affairs Medical Centers: East Campus in Tuskegee and West Campus in Montgomery. The CAVHCS locations serve a combined 134,000 veterans in 43 counties in the central and southeastern portions of Alabama.
