Q2 2017 – July 15, 2017

Charleston, SC – Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) has been awarded a contract for the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Thomson in Thomson, Illinois, which is approximately 150 miles West of Chicago. The renewable energy system is expected to be upwards of one megawatt in size and constructed as a ground array. In addition to this project, HSGS was awarded contract by NASA and another by SCE&G. The former will be a relatively small, roof-mounted system at their Redstone Campus location in Huntsville, Alabama location. The latter will be a large, multi-megawatt ground-mounted system in Cayce, South Carolina, advancing the state’s renewable energy development.

Our team has completed construction on two of three systems we designed for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) outside of Atlanta, Georgia. At the CDC Roybal campus, we designed and installed a 100+ kilowatt roof-mounted system in addition to an entrance canopy. At their Chamblee campus, our team completed a 90+ kW roof-mounted system. We continue working on a ground-mounted system at their Lawrenceville campus, aiming to complete it next year.
