Summerville, SC – Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) has been awarded and completed a handful of renewable energy projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The latest award will serve the Biloxi Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. The VAMC is looking to put in a large carport, a roof-mounted array, and possibly some EV chargers. Our dedicated team of NABCEP-certified photovoltaic (PV) designers and licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.) are getting started on the designs and looking forward to serving another VA Medical Center.
Additionally, HSGS was awarded a large commercial project for global engineering firm, Bosch Rexroth. Our team will design and install a multi-megawatt ground-mounted solar PV system at their facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
Our diligent construction and installation teams completed a roof-mounted array at a historic federal building in Savannah, Georgia. The Juliette Gordon Low building, named for the founder of the Girl Scouts, now boasts a 306-kilowatt renewable energy system. The project was funded by an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), allowing the government building to obtain energy savings and facility improvements with no up-front costs. We look forward to our solar PV system serving the employees at the Juliette Gordon Low Federal Building for many years to come.
