Summerville, SC – HSGS-Ameresco looks forward to continuing our work with the Department of Energy after being awarded a Design-Build Contract for the National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) in Flatirons, Colorado. NREL’s Flatirons campus is home to a research center that supports the Advanced Research in Integrated Energy Systems, or ARIES. Our team of NABCEP-certified photovoltaic (PV) designers and licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.) will design a 2-megawatt ground-mounted array that will be used for ARIES research.
In addition to HSGS-Ameresco’s contract with NREL, Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) has been awarded a project for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. This project in particular will start with an IGA, or investment grade audit. Our team will look into what the Center wants to add, then analyze things like their energy usage and ideal budget, which will inform our Engineering Department as they design a renewable energy system for FLETC. We look forward to showing off the talent of our engineers and PV designers.
